The Special Ingredients of What's Good

My Story: A Legacy Reimagined
Baking is in my DNA. My earliest memory goes back to when I was just six years old and mom had me sitting at the kitchen table, in our Michigan home, helping to make bite-sized desserts for a big party she and my father were hosting. I grew up at my mother's side in the kitchen and I learned early on that baking is more than just recipes, it's the love and care you put into who you're baking for.
My adult years found me baking at her side again, this time in the kitchen of her specialty bakery in South Florida. My mom had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. People didn't just love her bakes; they loved her. I learned that quality ingredients mixed with care is the secret to the ultimate in good taste. From her, I inherited the passion required to create something truly exceptional.

Why "Nothing But Good"?
While my mother gave me the gift of baking, my parents' later years gave me my mission. After watching my father fight heart disease and being the caregiver for my mother as we navigated her dementia, then facing my own heart health issues, my perspective on "good" food shifted. I realized I wanted to use my baking skill to help others. I founded Nothing But Good to bridge the gap between specialty baking and wellness. I’ve reimagined my inherited baking legacy with a new standard: clean, heart-conscious, and mind-nourishing ingredients.

Helping Us All Do Better
Nothing But Good isn't just a specialty cottage bake shop; it is a tribute. To honor the incredible woman who taught me how to bake with love, I'll help protect the health of the families I serve. This business is built on four measures: Good Taste, Good Ingredients, Good Health, and Good Impact. Because the fight against heart disease and dementia is personal to me, a portion of every sale is donated to the Alzheimer's Association and the American Heart Association. At Nothing But Good, I bake to nourish our body today and fund a healthier future for our community tomorrow. It's my way of taking a family legacy of baking and transforming it into a commitment to our health - helping us all do better, one wholesome bite at a time.

The Story Behind "The Ultimate in Good Taste'

For decades, South Florida knew this trademark of my mother Anita's specialty bakery, Celebrity Cheesecake. To my mother, The Ultimate in Good Taste wasn't just a tagline; it was a commitment. She never wavered on quality, cleanliness, or taste - using only the finest ingredients and maintaining an operation that earned perfect health inspection scores. If her name was on the box, the product inside had to be perfection. When I founded Nothing But Good, I knew I wanted to carry that trademark forward. It carries that same uncompromising commitment to quality, now with the added benefit of respecting your health.

Do You Remember Celebrity Cheesecake?
My mother, Anita, spent over 20 years sharing her heart (and her cheesecakes) with South Florida. If you were a regular at her bakery, a wholesale partner, or simply have a fond memory of a special celebration made better by her bakes, I would love to hear from you.
